Stanley, NC – The head office of SENNEBOGEN LLC has completed a 45,000 sq. ft. expansion of their new parts warehouse, enabling them to expand the size of North America’s largest and most complete parts inventory for material handlers. With this latest expansion, the facility now totals more than 100,000 sq. ft., all under one roof.
Constantino Lannes, President of SENNEBOGEN LLC, reports that the move-in took place in the beginning of 2013. “Our original building design and site plan anticipated this expansion when we first developed this facility,” Lannes explains. “We’re very pleased that we were able to implement this phase of the plan so quickly. We thought it would be a few more years before we needed to expand the warehouse, but both our commitment to customer support and the customer fleet have grown consistently since we first opened the new facility. We were at the point where we needed to move ahead with the plan when we did.”
SENNEBOGEN officially opened its new head office facility as a greenfield project in Stanley, NC, in March 2010. The “purpose-built” facility combines administrative and sales offices with a training center and a parts warehouse. The training area is partitioned off from the main facility, with classrooms and a galleried training bay used for both sales and technical instruction.
SENNEBOGEN maintains a complete inventory of service parts and replacement components for its green line material handlers, from electrical fittings to cabs and booms. SENNEBOGEN LLC provides factory support to customers throughout the United States and Canada as well as Central and South America. The facility also supports a nationwide network of distributors who maintain complete inventories of common wear parts and consumables.
The SENNEBOGEN equipment line covers a varied range of purpose-built diesel and electric-drive material handlers sized from 44,000 lbs. to 750,000 lbs. for use in scrap recycling, log processing, waste handling and port facilities.
“When the Sennebogen family decided to bring their material handlers to the Americas, they knew that parts support would be absolutely critical to customers here,” said Lannes. “This facility represents their commitment to our marketplaces. Our distributors and customers have responded. By employing this strategy, we have been able to build great partnerships from coast-to-coast, and from north to south.”
